Well my first instinct was to say Bubble Bobble but that was one of the finest games ever written and I'm proud as hell to be anally obsessive about it. Hell for many years I had the theme as my PDA's ring noise until people threatened me with death if they ever heard it again, mostly because I never answered and just let it ring to listen to it

iPhone games. I have like 4 pages of them on my dashboard and I feel totally guilty while playing every single one.

Shadowrun for the Xbox 360, i never played the old rpg it might have bastardised the games story or whatever but its a damn great shooting game. even go as far as to say my fave in the last 10 years

I wouldn't say my fave in the last ten years by a long shot, but I did enjoy it. Balancing was well done for the cross-platform gameplay, I must say.

Yeah count me in the "was interested until I read it was mutliplayer only" category. I was quite pissed that all it was was a fragfest shooter and not a cool RPG brought back to life with modern capabilities...

Even with the fragfest thing, there was enough there to keep me interested if there was a good story.
I say "Pity I can't program" far too often but I won't ever get around to learning more than vbscript because I'm too lazy. I'd love to be able to make decent games out of some of these old properties.
