So sorry, I know it's getting old, so I'll try to make this my last question for awhile.

I posted previously wanting something to read PDF files, and I ended up buying a Kindle. But it was HORRIBLE. I literally couldn't read a single word from the Skyrim manual I was trying to read.

So, I got a a tablet. It's an ASUS FT300T, a nice big screen, and I can read PDF's on it GREAT. The pictures are even in color and legible.

But my question now is, since it cost so much money, and since I sometimes spend HOURS sitting in a car, it would be really nice to play some games with this thing. But the only games I'm seeing at the app store are really...... lame would be the word I would choose.

Can I play regular old Windows games on a tablet??? Like some of my GOG games??? If I could just get ONE to play, I would want it to be OOTP Baseball, but I posted at their forum and the response was I likely couldn't play OOTP on an android tablet.

I'm still not even clear how I play ANY games, basically I got this thing and don't know what the hell I'm doing with it, although I did get it to do what I wanted, and that's read PDF files. I can now download, open, and read any PDF files I want, and that was my real goal. It just would be nice if I could play games on this thing too then that might make me feel a little better about the amount of money that was spent on this thing. (Once again, it wasn't MY money, as my family is just amazing and always are buying me gifts and they bought this after my purchase of the Kindle was "wasted").

Both ScummVM and DOSBox have Android ports, so you can play a lot of GOG games through those. OOTP Baseball doesn't have an Android version, and according to a post by a developer it won't have one anytime soon, so I'm afraid you won't be able to play that one.
Well, you can play GOGs that run under DOSBox on Android using an emulator like DOSBox Turbo, but it can be kind of complicated. Someone more DOSBox savvy than me can probably walk you through it.

Revolution Software has ported Broken Sword I and II to Android, available on the Play Store.

Spiderweb Software (Avernum, Geneforge) has ported Avadon to the Play Store as well.

Not a GOG, but Minecraft has an Android version as well.

GemRGB allegedly will allow the Infinity Engine games (BG, IWD) to run on Android, not sure how many kinks they have worked out of it yet.
I haven't given this a try (not that I currently have an Android tablet anyway), but perhaps you can:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.sourceforge.gemrb&hl=en
It is the GemRB (Game engine made with pre-Rendered Background), a portable open-source implementation of Bioware's Infinity Engine.

There are Android versions of Anomaly, Uplink, and Spacechem from one of the Humble Android Bundles. They aren't available on GOG, but it's possible that if you own them here already you can ask the devs for an Android version. I have no idea if they'd honor it, however.

BG1+2 and IWD1 work pretty well on GemRB, with only a few minor bugs.
PST and IWD2 are substantially buggier and unfinished, and they aren't completable in their current state. If you're willing to be a lab rat, though, I'm sure they'd appreciate any feedback you could give.
