GameSpot's users voted Gordon Freeman the greatest game hero of all time by 55.8%, so guess what Valve's doing? That's right, all Half-Life games are 55.8% off! If you don't have any of them, now's a great time to get them. I especially liked Half-Life 2 Episode 2, but if you've never played one I'd recommend starting with Half-Life 2 (Half-Life 1 is amazing but entirely optional).

I've already got them all. Aside from HL Source. But I'm waiting on Black Mesa instead. I'd certainly recommend HL2 and its episodes though (Ep1 is essential to bridge the gap if not essential unto itself).

The only ones I don't have are Blue Shift Opposing Force, and Half Life Source (I have the original HL1 though). And I probably won't buy any of those I'm missing.

You know, I'm starting to think that there's really no point to buying ANYTHING at full price on steam. All of their products go on sale if you're patient...
Now, if only I could get half-price on Portal...

Kingoftherings: The only ones I don't have are Blue Shift Opposing Force, and Half Life Source (I have the original HL1 though). And I probably won't buy any of those I'm missing.

The expansions aren't that essential, but it's a nice price i think.
I don't have HL:Source too, and i won't bother buying it just for an engine port.
Soon the Black Mesa mod will be released, like Navagon said. ;)

Yeah, during the year end sale last year Steam had the HL expansions for 99 cents each, and I passed them up then, and I'll pass them up again for $2.20 a piece.
Uhhh... actually only Blue Shift is on sale. Opposing Force is still $4.99

I'm not that updated regarding past prices. But in case of buying hl1 for $4.39, it's better to get the pack instead, this is what i meant to say.

WHEN? I've been waiting years for this goddamn mod, and I was starting to think it would be the mod community's Duke Nukem Forever (which happens quite often in the mod scene).

I seriously think half-life is over-rated. the engine is brilliant though.
gordon freeman isn't even all that great.
