Shame to see it go. Own the PS2 version, and it's a pretty fun FPS.
Will the gift keys be valid after 2012?

I'd like to thank Kristian for giving me a copy of XIII. Now that my problem is solved, I can finally make fun of the rest of you :

Thanks for letting us know.

Echoing Azrael360's question: if we buy gift codes now then will you be able to honour them in the future?
Tad off topic here. I am going to pick up Xiii as mentioned but I'm not getting out the credit card for 2.99 and I guess I should tack on something else. I'd like something fun and unique but not overly intense or challenging as I'm still fighting this horrific cold and I'm moving and thinking veeeerrrrrrryyyyy sllllloooooowwwwwlllllyyyyy.
I was eyeing Roller Coaster Tycoon. Thoughts? And the 1st person that recommends "Descent!" gets smacked! ;)

Sacrifice. If you have that, buy King of Dragon Pass.
Eh, wasn't really that good of a game. I mean the shooting parts were really fun, but aparrently the developers didn't share my opinion, so they padded the game with scripted sequences, unskippable cutscenes and poor stealth parts. In fact it's all that nonesene that keeps me from starting a second playthrough, when I know I will have to sit through all of that again. I mean, it wouldn't be half as bad if they didn't put the checkpoints right before the unskippable cutscenes and scripte sequences. What's that, you died? Well, now you have to watch our cutscene again. Ugh, why can't developer just focus on one or two things and make that really good, instead they always have to throw in this stuff.

I was wondering this because, maybe (and just maybe, I can't promise it) I could work something out by Monday, buy at least one copy that day, and make a giveaway in January, when the game can't be sold in GOG...

Alpha Centauri
with the newly GOGed expansion, unless you already got it

I went to a really good high school and I am a college graduate but when I picked up AC a few years ago it became evident that in the grand scheme of things I am a blithering idiot, :) I appreciate the rec but I have never been able to even start to crack Sid's games. I'm a civil war historian and I couldn't even get through the start up menu of Gettysburg. Thanks anyway!
Thanks for the heads up.

Good job i bought XIII in a sale earlier this year.

Recommend anybody who hasn't got this game to get it quickly before its gone, it's a great game with the best version on PC.
Well crap. The game looked a bit interesting but it wasn't on my radar really before.

I can spare $3 for it though in case it gets stuck in limbo for good.

Same here I nabbed it along with Duke 3D, Unreal Gold, and Blood 1&2, when it was a part of that FPS sale GOG had awhile back. I also second the recommendation it is a good game with a really nice comic book style to it.
