So I just played xcom enemy unknown and I wondered, are the originals good as well?
I know they're not on GOG but still...
and if they're any good, should i buy the complete pack or only one of them?

some say the original serie is even better than the new game.
too bad the graphics are way outdated.
The first one is good. I liked Terror From The Deep better, even though it's buggier. The third one was a little too cartoony for my tastes. There's a, iirc, space fighter game set in the X-com universe, but I've heard it's not that good (never played it).

The first two are some classic games and some of those games that one should play, IMO.
EDIT: The below has been pointed out by other posters to most likely be shitty-ass information, you should probably ignore it. I left it only for posterity.

-------------BEGIN SHITTY INFORMATION----------------

The new one pretty much tried to "be" the old ones, very few mechanics are changed from what I hear (kneeling and prone were removed in favor of "hunker down", for example). I didn't play the originals, but if you don't mind outdated graphics, why not? Enemy Unknown is a direct reaction to the (rather fucking ridiculous) fan reaction to the new XCOM shooter game.

Buy the first 3(UFO defence, Terror from the Deep and Apocalypse). The other 2 suck.

Hardly. This game was in its beginning development stages before the FPS XCOM was even announced yet.
It might take a bit to get over the differences in the interface and perhaps the graphics, if that sort of thing bothers you, coming from the new XCOM. I'll admit that I had considerable difficulty getting into the game when I first started trying to play it, which was only about a year or two ago as I somehow missed the game when it came out.

Once I did though, the original X-COM quickly took a place among my favorite games. So if you're curious, I'd say it's worth a look. One thing that really helped me to get over that initial difficulty was to watch a few Let's Plays and try to play along until I got a better grasp of the basics.

First one is the best ever. ^^

It's nothing like the old X-com at all, at least judging from the demo. Sure, concept and settings are the same, squad-based strategy with base management in the background, but the execution is totally different. Combat was way more similar to Jagged Alliance than this new installment.

I LOVED Apocalypse, there's so much awesome stuff you could do in that game.

-Making entire buildings crumble on themselves by destroying the ground level? Check.
-Digging underground tunnels with alien weapons up to the target location? Check.
-Dogfighting in the city with airfighters and hovercrafts? Check.
-Jetpacks available since the beginning? Check.
-Portable teleporting devices? Check.
-Raiding enemy human factions HQ for money and fun? Check. Hey Steam haters, imagine if you could raid Valve's offices!
-Lovely retro 60's sci-fi visual design? Check (ok, this is highly subjective, I admit).
-Human-alien hybrids (born from the experiments of the former invasion, now social outcasts) as recruitable soldiers? Check.
-Optional real-time combat mode? Check!

I can agree that TFTD wasn't exactly memorable though. Not because it's bad, but because it's basically a reskin of the first game.
I absolutely love the new XCOM. I have so much fun with it with little frustration.
I love the old Xcoms, but sometimes the game is unfair and frustrating ;p And yes, they too are great and worth playing. I'd also suggest getting and installing XcomUtil which fixes some things about them. But read about it first at http://www.ufopaedia.org/index.php?title=XcomUtil so that you know what you're doing :)

It was not any more cartoony than the first.

Nothing wrong with Interceptor.

I've only played the demo for the new X-com, and while there were similarities, it plays very differently from the original.

Is the first X-com worth it? Possibly. Both its strategic & tactical elements are still challenging & can be quite rewarding. My issue with the original X-com was the fact that you had too many soldiers, and they died very easily. It makes sense to make soldiers weaker when you are expected to have more of them, but the turns take quite some time, and at least I did not have the patience to micromanage all my soldiers. The first few in a turn I would position well and all that, but once I got about halfway through my squad, I would start to get careless with them, simply because it was getting tedious to setting up soldiers carefully, and this resulted in a lot of unfortunate deaths.
I think Jagged Alliance 2 nails it in terms of squad size & control. You don't have so many soldiers that it starts to get tedious to move them, but enough for it to allow for a variety of tactics. In general, if you want a TBT, that is the game that I would recommend.
But I am by the way in the minority when it comes to my opinion on X-com (but not Jagged Alliance), and X-com is relatively cheap anyway, so it might be worth picking up. There is a collection that contains all the first 5 X-com games (Enemy Unknown, Terror from the Deep, Apocalypse, Interceptor & Enforcer. Enforcer is utter garbage, so just consider it a minor extra in the bundle)
The original remains excellent to this day, and is something that any fan of turn-based tactical games should play. The interface can be a bit overwhelming at first (definitely a case where one needs to RTFM), and still remains a bit clunky even once you get used to it, but the rest of the game is still excellent despite that. It's very unforgiving, but creates a wonderful feeling of tension during the missions, due to having to act on incomplete information (not knowing where the aliens are) and just how fast it can be over for a squad member who finds himself on the wrong end of a plasma rifle. There's also a good strategic level on top of the tactic missions, with research, building bases to allow for detection and interception of aliens across the globe, and managing the resources you have at your disposal (money, recruits, research capacity, manufacturing capacity, etc). The game is also random enough that each playthrough can be quite different, depending on what ends up being thrown at you.

As for the second and third games, Terror from the Deep is for the most part a rehash of the first game, but designed for those who thought the original was too easy. The third is quite a bit different and I've never really been able to get into it, although there are those who like it quite a bit, so it's something worth trying in case you're one of the people who likes it.
The only one in the original series I enjoyed was Apocalypse. Absolutely brilliant game. I remember playing it solidly for a good couple of years.
Definitely give it a go, I would recommend actually starting with Terror From the Deep. It's pretty much like the first, but better (aside from the awkward research bug - which can be avoided).

I've heard the opposite, but given the quality of information on the internet I can completely believe either.
