KavazovAngel: Hmm... to me at least, the guys who manage Stardock's Twitter account have been really helpful actually.

(just to throw in some contrast)
Ah, but did you ever question their claims that they work hard with publishers to remove regional restrictions? I asked them to provide some evidence of that, such as making say the X-Com games available worldwide (after all, they are available worldwide on every other service).

All I got was a childish response and Zoomba (?) blocking me on Twitter. They certainly never provided any information to support their claims and to this day, not a single game that is restricted to NA has ever had that restriction removed.
Never tried the service, and my opinion of Gamestop is mixed to say the least, but the more competition with Steam (Despite my adoration of it) and others, the better for us consumers.
Know that whenever a company may threaten another's sales, that any force necessary will be taken. That's why SOE {Sony Online Entertainment} just fired 250 employees this week to streamline profits. The common person and the customer matter not as long as they rake in income at excessive levels!
This just in; companies at rival corporations are still looking to jab the competition at any possible chance.

As much as I like GamersGate I do wish they'd stop this silly attention grabbing through slagging off the competition. They should really be looking to get attention to their service through far better means -- like signing on some of the bigger publishers who are still absent...
Unfortunately you must realize that it is no longer the creators of the games who hold the power of what gets released. It is instead completely up to the companies who sell their games. This puts a lot of people in a tight position especially with things like they've started doing with the Downloaded Content on Xbox360 on Day 1 OF THE RELEASE!
The article was pretty meh but the cliche Steam fanboy response directly below it was good for a chuckle.

" Steam Rivalry "
That made me laugh .
