It's probably due to the fact that one could consider that licensing hell. Just getting the approval of the likes of Sega, Namco, Sony, Capcom, and Nintendo to use their characters in a movie probably took significant enough effort, even though I wouldn't be surprised if they only served quite minor roles in the end.

So yep, saw this, if you were waiting for some sort of review, you can quit waiting, it's good. Especially if you grew up playing arcade games, go see this movie. You can drown in nostalgia alone. But the pure awesome...

Okay, the reason I can't say much is I don't want to spoil it. This is the same reason the trailers didn't describe much of the movie. Just go watch it.

I am so revved for this movie to come out!!! Ever since I saw articles based around it, and everything makes me that much more excited for it. I feel like a child again going to see Tron or Empire or The Flight of the Navigator in theaters for the first time! -cue Feels Like the First Time by Foreigner-

I was at FanExpo this year (like I am at EVERY FE LOL); they had the arcade game of Fix-it Felix made JUST as promotion for Wreck-it Ralph, and it was GLORIOUS!!! It was designed exactly as the old arcade games I loved playing growing up. Oh this movie is going to be so friggin awesome!! ^_^

I really enjoyed it, though I must say it really did feel like Toy Story in the arcade world. Oh well.
