What colour would you describe her jacket?

Elmofongo: Its a trend, everyone wants to copy the works of Christopher Nolan's Batman/Inception, Zack Snyder's 300/Watchmen/Man of Steel. And now Michael Bay with his Transformers.
Except Michael Bay's target audience is 5 year olds.

Oops, my bad :D

I'll be honest, didn't bother watching the full trailer, can't be bothered since it's Michael Bay. skimmed to the point where I saw hideous Michaelangelo and closed the window.

It doesn't look bad, to be honest. I did laugh out loud at the mask gag at the end of the trailer, although I winced a little bit at the idea that Shredder is some kind of businessman who creates the Turtles deliberately. A little off the beaten track, but sure, I'll bite and see where they're taking this.

I think all the Michael Bay hate is simply because it's 'cool' to hate on him - the usual internet bullshit. Sure, he's done some films that really aren't all that good (Pearl Harbor and Armageddon come to mind), but like darthspudius said, he makes mindless fun films. The Island is one of my favourite sci-fi films, and The Rock and the Bad Boys films are some of the best action flicks of hte 90s/00s. Also, even if the second and third films weren't exactly stellar, the first Transformers film was pretty good.

People seem to ignore the fact that Michael Bay is a superb cinematographer, if nothing else.

Always had a soft spot for Turtles. Actually just started reading the original b/w comics few weeks ago. And heard that the current series is supposed to be half decent and been meaning to check it out.

But this! Didn't even know they were making a new Turtles movie. The trailer makes the movie look like generic Hollywood shit, but I'd be still interested in watching this. On Netflix/Whatchever one day.

htown1980: This actually looks less bad than I thought it would look. Are the turtles still aliens?
Did some reading on this one. My understanding was that he backed down on that one. Story still off-canon.
Wow, that was really a worthless trailer. Are movie trailers of the recent years even made by people or is there a computer program that chops the movie into 1-second bits, finds the one talking about justice, destiny, fate, destruction and hope and then glues them together between destruction clips using fade-to-black?

Remember when a movie trailer would actually tell you something about a movie? Like you would have a clue what the movie was actually about. Take the trailer for Bloodsport as an example:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8CLz2Hh9uqM

After watching the Turtles trailer I still have no clue what the movie is about, aside from the fact that it will have some teenage mutant ninja turtles, and that was something I was already able to deduct from the movie's name.

Kind of relevant.
Why does it look like Transformers with turtles?
When I see movies today...I wonder how they get the money and the resources to do it. Millions of dollars just to make a crappy C rate. And these licenses they have are golden, yet they still manage to ruin them. Why does no one have vision?! ;(

RadonGOG: After watching this I´m sure we´ll someday get a "Spielberg Vs. Bay"-Game-series ;)
Scorsese can beat Bay anyday but Scorsese vs Spielberg, two of the five movie brats to come out of the 1970s (includes Brian DePalma, Francis Ford Coppola, and George Lucas) who are still making good movies today, that is the battle of the century.

Thanks to Michael "boom boom" Bay, I don't care about Hollywood movies anymore. And I don't give a crap about the TMNT reboot as well.

Oh my lord.. that is so insanely terrible.
I really thought it was a parody for a bit, but no it's just Hollywood raping our childhoods again.
There is literally not a single part in that trailer that did not make me want to throw up.
Clichés, lens flares, ridiculous voice trying to make it sound cool.. thanks Fongo, this really effs up my morning.
