I'm a fan of the 3D adventures with the first person view, Atlantis - style, like Cryo, Kheops studio or in lesser extent the Arxel tribe and others used to make.
If I understand it correctly, the rights for these games went from Cryo-Microids-Anuman etc. and maybe there was some involvement with the american distributors (like Dreamcatcher/The Adventure Company.
Now, GOG offers several games from Cryo (notably the first three Atlantis games) and one from Kheops (the first Return to the Mysterious Island) and all are listed under Anuman or Microids.
The important question: why not the others? Egypt series, Aztec, China, Paulo Coelho trilogy, Pompei, Jerusalem...
Some of them are available for download. Is it because GOG isn't interested in getting more games from the portfolio, or the publishers are reluctant, or the latter won't allow these games from all markets, or because the latter won't let it without DRM? Or... I don't know...
It just bugs me. Some of them are still available as physical copies, through ebay or whatever... I'm not angry, just curious.
