I just noticed that my wishlist was emptied by unknown forces. Did this happen to anyone else? I'm curious if there was some change that purged wishlists or something.

Yes, it happened to me when this sale started (or thereabouts.) So you are not alone.

This has been happening to quite a few recently.

To help you reconstruct your wishlist next time this happens, you might want to consider backing it up in one of three ways:

1) Use Barefoot Essentials to export it to the GOG wiki
2) Use MaGog's "Get from GOG" feature to export it to MaGog
3) Save the HTML page from your browser

Oh haha. I thought this was a thread about how the sales decimated your wishlist... But like, because you bought stuff :-P

Have you tried an account refresh to see if that will fix it?

I think that will rebuild your list of games from the corresponding orders. So, it would have no effect on the wishlist. :(

Happened to me in the last sale. My wishlist was completely purged and NOT because I bought many games! The site itself was struggling to load for me at times.

But did it reappeared?

Some of it did but not all of it. I just ended up adding items to my list again.

I'm disappointed to see that I'm not alone, since that means it's not an isolated snafu. Oh well. Time to recreate that wishlist. Or maybe not...perhaps it's a sign telling me to stop spending. I really don't -need- to own any of those games I had previously wishlisted...

Had the same thing happen to me. It's been a few days now and it hasn't returned. A question for people who this has happened to in the past: Will it reappear later on or should I just add things back to it? Thanks.

I'm just going to start re-creating my wishlist. Hopefully it doesn't get purged at a later date. :-D
