Is there ANY chance that we may see the Wing Commander series here in the future?? I loved that series back in the day...especially Wing 3, The Heart of the Tiger.

Probably not any time soon I fear, its owned by EA now and they're not very forthcoming with older titles.

Wing Commander?
It bet on it: it won't be here for the time being, even in the case of a license deal. Simply because the game it's a real mess to run within the current version of DOSBox. End of the story, and hopes.....

End of story, yes, but not hopes. If I gave up hopes of that one day, my favorite old games would be there, I'd have stopped visiting it at all.
This is just a question of patience. GOG is still new and relatively unknown. Let it flourish and we'll see.

Yes please, oh dear god yes please.
I miss playing WC1, 2, 3 and 4 - 5 not so much so cause you know the story didn't continue.
Dang I spend many hours in my younger days with that game. Reading the manual and stories, looking at the supplied blue prints, memorizing stats on missiles and guns and .......
Price of Freedom - one of the - if not thee - most wonderful intro ever in my book.
Still have 3, 4 and 5 on CDs .... guess I should see if they can run in Vista :D

I can run WC1-3, Priv, Armada, Academy in DOSBox just fine. I run WC4/Prophecy/Priv 2 in Windows perfectly.

Think I'll try to build up a gaming PC annon 2000 or something so I can play the games again :D
Time to pull out all the old hardware to see what I have laying around. Have a complete computer standing but I have no idea what specs it features - good to be a geek. :D
