Count me in, I was thinking of starting this series with WC3, but the forth will be a good choice too.

It's actually better to start with WC 4 for two reasons:
1. It's a new story. WC 3 isn't really connected to WC 1 and 2, but it is the end of the war you already fought in 1 and 2. So... WC 3 just feels a bit better if you know 1 and 2 (play them before 3, if you can bear the graphics).

2. WC 4 is missing something: Cockpits! There are no cockpits in WC 4. WC 3 has cockpits, so you'll have an "improvement" when you play WC 3 after WC 4 ;-)

Nice, thanks for the advise, the graphics are not a barrier to me for play 1-2, but the fact of Mark Hamill's acting in the third part makes me pick that one first. XD

But he's on 4th too, so... :)

Haha...thats a good one, thank you very much for this wonderful giveaway real.geizterfahr. I have heard a lot about the Wing Commander series but have never played any of these games before. Since I think jumping into it with number four wouldn't be a good idea so I am not in for it. Hopefully though someday I will definitely give this game series a try. Thanks again and +1 for sharing your love of this game with others in this community. :)
