For some odd reason, after turning my Desktop on this evening, aero is not working.
I've had an error message from logmein in this first boot (possibly because I had remotely shut it off using logmein), but I have since uninstalled the program (the free version is going away, anyway).
Still, after various boots aero is still not working and Windows troubleshooting keeps telling me that I should turn off programs that use mirror drivers, but doesn't point any that is running.
I tried some regedit stuff I found over google, but none worked. Also tried some service stopping and starting with no results.
Gaming seems to be unaffected. I also use Stardock Fences 1, but it is working properly.
So, any tips on how to solve this thing?
EDIT: Turns out there was a "Logmein Mirror Driver" working under Display Adapters in the Device Manager. Even after I uninstalled the damned program! Turning it off made aero work again. :)
