If our cheap games aren’t cheap enough for you, how do free games sound?
The fine folks at Voodoo Extreme are giving you a chance to win one of 15 free games from GOG.com. Head over here [url=http://ve3d.ign.com/articles/news/43129/Voodoo-Extreme-Good-Old-Games-Game-Giveaway]http://ve3d.ign.com/articles/news/43129/Voodoo-Extreme-Good-Old-Games-Game-Giveaway for the full rules... Really, all it takes is for you to register at Voodoo Extreme and send them a quick email. It doesn’t get much easier than that. Watch for more giveaways and contests in the coming weeks.
I'm really loving the exposure GoG.com is getting. It's fantastic :)

deathkitten: I'd hardly call this "exposure" sadly it looks like just another blog/news site, I'd never heard of it I thought voodoo extreme was some old graphics card

1 million unique visitors per month and a ten year old history doesn't sound too bad, I'd say.
Yeah, Voodoo Extreme has been around for ages. Along with Blue's News, they've been pumping us full of newsy goodness for years.
I signed up, heheh.. anything for free is a good thing!

May contain DRM though....
gog.com is a dream come true for us Asus EEE users. Cheap old games that actually run. Plus the DRM free and digital download helps -- no cd/dvd drive on this thing. :)
I e-mailed idSoftware saying they should offer games on gog.com -- old Quake and Doom games. *dreams*

GoG also likes Voodoo Extreme because we posted lots of stuff about The Witcher (and Good Old Games, of course). ;)
Lots of VE readers are fans of GoG/CD Projekt.
and a lot of VE3d readers have been with them since the days of the voodoo graphics card, and are rabidly anti DRM.
On the other hand.. they are kinda obsessed with pretty graphics and the latest hardware...
So, any news as to who won?
