I was wondering if someday GOG would use prepaid cards as an alternative to Paypal and credit cards. Not like a Visa gift card, but more like a Microsoft Points card or PSN card. It would help get more sales from those who don't have Paypal or credit cards if implemented.
Probably not.
PaySafeCard's would be a nice option, which I would like to see on GOG. http://www.paysafecard.com
The problem with those payment options is that they are very costly for GOG. GOG is still a relatively small business that must make due with everything they can get. Unless they can attract a BIG amount of new customers with such an option, there is no upside for them doing it.

This. Paysafe would be great. I don't know how many customers would use it, but it would make purchases a lot easier for some.

Definetly it will be good if they add PaySafe & Webmoney....
It's a nice option, definitely the safest one, but I think the fees are a bit too much for GOG to swallow (or, alternatively, their customers if they choose that route)
The owners of paysafecard take too much cut on each sale, so I doubt it's gonna happen anytime soon.
does anyone has any idea of what would take paysafecard versus what takes paypal?

From what I have been told they taking a huge cut for amounts smaller then $10. But I wouldn't mind to use them as an extra option for amounts above $15-20, or if GOG charges an extra fee if I buy for an amount below.

Could anyone figure out how big their cut really is? I couldn't find any numbers so far.
i've found only this:

What are the fees for payment via paysafecard at ELDEXchange?
The fees for using the service of paysafecard are 15 % of the order amount. According to our fee transparency policy, we will only charge the costs that we have to bear ourselves – free of premium. The fees for this service are relatively high, but unfortunately, this is something we cannot influence.

i can't check this because i don't play SL

if paysafecard don't have fees table, maybe it is client based charging, if u are big fish (u sell big amount odf stuff) u can get smaller fees
I'd prefer to pay with SMS messages. :)

gameon: I wonder how many forum members there are. That might give some sort of indication of numbers here. (although a smaller percentage would have bought something).
Don't forget to count people who don't participate on the forum, that makes your estimate more inaccurate.

Actually, I kinda agree with this one. :)
