ABH20: Unfortunately it's being curated by the kind of people who voted for Postal 2.
It is easy to see why Postal 2 got onto steam though. They offered free copies of the game to anyone who voted for it on Greenlight.

mondo84: It does seem like much of the initial excitement for Greenlight has waned. I haven't checked Greenlight in quite awhile, other than voting here or there for games like Primordia.
And this is part of the problem with Greenlight. Many genuinely interesting games never stand a chance, due to people just voting for the games that they know.
I'm not saying that you did bad for voting for Primordia though.

Oh I absolutely agree with you. With hundreds of games on Greenlight, few people can have the time or patience to go through them all and give equal consideration. As a result we depend on others to funnel project suggestions to us. That's just the way it works with systems based on voting.

It's kind of like kickstarter. There are probably some really interesting projects on there, but when the big ones go viral they get most of the attention.

I feel bad since I am genuinely curious and want to support smaller developers in any way possible, but I just don't have the time or energy to go through everything on Greenlight.
