ShmenonPie: Well, if this is indeed the case, I suppose CD Projekt are to be commended for making a game that's good enough to have an unusually high price point at this point in time after its release.
I don't think $20 for a 4 year old game is "unusually high." Pretty much every hit game from 4 years ago is $20 standard and that's not even considering that The Witcher was re-released with extra content a year or so after that.
In any event it might have less to do with price and more to do with Atari mucking things up. Yes they have TW2 on GOG despite Atari, but it's all about the parameters of each contract.
In any case I don't really care because I own the Enhanced Edition in a box and don't feel the need to re-purchase it for no reason.
