90% of games on gog I know without a doubt I either want or dont want just based on its title alone. But thats just me though and I am familliar with almost all the games on here.

Besides originally a lot of games on here never had demos. So that would require a lot of extra time and money on their part to setup demos for all their games. And considering they sell their games at such low prices already they arent like say activision where they make hundreds of millions everytime they shit out a call of duty game and have capital to burn.

We have a good community anyway so if your curious about a game then ask questions on the forums, read reviews, hit up youtube and check out some videos or just google the game because considering the heritage of the games on here there is no shortage of information about them. Besides, stuff here is cheap as hell so its not like your dropping 60 bucks on a new game and have to be extra careful about your choices. The cost of one regular game alone could buy you 7 or 8 games on here easily.

Just dont forget, gog isnt a huge multi billion dollar national company. Its a small company run by a small crew. Yes demos would be nice but not fesible for a place like here.

Me personally? Demo or not Id rather buy my good old games here than anywhere else.

P.S.

Dear gog,

Release Harvester, Shadow warrior, Dark seed, Silverload, Shadow of the comet and The dark eye. Please.

Wow. I'd have expected GoG to N+1 collocate at data-centres somewhere in the UK, Germany, France, Netherlands, or the USA on an unmetered 100 Mdonkey, sorry, Mbit port.
