Physical copies, I just finished replacing my Steam (*spits in Steams general direction) games with real copies (thanks Game), anything that needs online verification, I refuse to buy anymore.

seaspanky: I prefer physical copies. There is no worth left in digital games once you purchase them. I can resell a physical game, and most of the time, if it is a good game, the value will increase over time once they stop making them and boxed copies become scarce. I also am able to control what I purchase. I can with GOG titles as well, but GOG is the except in digital distribution rather than the rule.

Only problem with all of this is that I no longer have the space, or ability to purchase physical copies like I used to, or on a level that is comparable to much cheaper digital versions. So I prefer physical, but I have gradually, and grudgingly, accepted digital. Digital is easier, quicker, cheaper, and more convenient. Hopefully I never will be forced to regret all of my non-GOG digital purchases.
Exactly the same here.

I feel with you and I really would like to do the same , but a lot of publishers are screwing us so bad with a lot of tight DRM so it is either take it or one can not play the games...
I have become so tired of Steam within a very short amount of time and I think that I will be starting to minimize what will be buying from there (but they have all thos F**king sales to undermine your morale and lot of games require Steam.... ) (alas I have a huge amount of games at Steam by now!)
It wouldn't have touched Steam with a ten feet pole had I not had it force fed with a DVD game I bought.... (did I feel screwed - but it sort of also made me give up for a while , but now I have become rater angry!)

Yeah I bought most at really low sale prices last summer, but I only had about 5/6 games total, so its no big deal.

I was going to get Skyrim on PC until I found out you had to reg it with steam (*spits in steams general direction), so I'll get it on 360/PS3 instead, even though its more expensive.
Whatevers cheapest! XD

Well... I never thought that I would get a persuasive argument to get a "game console" but you just delivered one...... :-)
5 years ago I would have said definetly physical, but nowday I don't care about the boxes that much.

I do buy an occasional physical copy if I can find one cheaply enough, but I mostly go for digital these day. One reason is, that the quality of game boxes has plummeted. Other is that digital is often cheaper.
Both.

I'm a collector and like seeing the boxes, but I also enjoy the convenience of not bothering with discs.
I like both.

But for digital I'll buy it, download everything that I get with it, and burn it all onto a disc so in case the company goes out of business I still have my games.
