My nick is a portmanteau of "psychology" and "syringe" (as demonstrated by my avatar ;) ). I like puns and portmanteaus, I was always interested in psychology (professionally as well as as hobbyist), and back in the 90s I wanted a unique nick so that I wouldn't need to change my handle in every other community. This worked for a long time, but in the past years some other people apparently got the same idea, so not every Psyringe is me. Since last year, my health also depends on several injections per day, so the nick suits me for yet another reason. I don't apply them to the brain though. ;)
