I have said quite a few times in several popular threads:

I had an email from Ian.
Aside from general real life issues and some health problems getting in the way of his time here, he also had some tech issues with his computer and internet connection.
He has been online in the last couple of months (or at least his steam account has been used in that time). If anyone has a specific message to pass, I'll gladly do so when I email him at the end of the month.

Ultimatum: With Waldo
No you got it wrong, he's with Carmen Sandiego.
Ian is in Shady Sands, first building to the right. You can recruit him by paying 100 caps, or convince him to join for free, through a Speech check.

GabiMoro: As I remember he said bad things about GOG and someone proved him wrong.

hedwards: And we'll probably never know because trying to search for things here is just shy of impossible. You pretty much have to know exactly what the post said before you can find it.
I recall a particularly heated follow up around those copyright infringement enforcement letters being sent in Germany on behalf of GOG. It was not anything unusual to start, but it got personal.

Could be that.

Dzsono: What was his old username? ia666n, or something like that...
i666an :P
i believe Ian got killed by supermutants. Never fared very well against them, poor bastard.
Sachys, you can tell him to come back ASAP :D

You can tell him that we miss him.

I'm fairly sure I've seen Orcish saying that this applied to him as well
Where is grynn? I haven't seen him for a while, hope he's OK.

I'm actually surprised. OrcishGamer seemed to be a rather respected and friendly guy around here - as opposed to SimonG who would antagonize everything and everyone during his last phase.

But, that was in his last phase. When a person is becoming dissallusioned with a community, it's not uncommon to start seeing other members as being your enemy, as they're (in their mind) the ones who are bringing everything down.

SimonG was a very friendly and active member of the community for a long time, and I'd prefer to focus on that period. Hard exits are not pleasant, but I still hold a lot of respect for SimonG as well as Orcish,

It applies to Gameon as well.
