"Digger" is the mascot for the local Utilities Protection Center--- the people construction companies call to make sure they know where the gas, water, & electric lines are, so they don't accidentally dig them up. The dog's expression amuses me, it's a nice clear graphic and digging's more or less what I do for a living. *shrug*

My avatar is the logo of an Amiga game I like. It's called Zeewolf. What? Unimaginative? Me? Never!

My current one is because I love Portal, and it reads well at a small size.
My usual one can be seen here. Someone did a mashup of Charles Schultz drawing Marvel characters. Silver Snoopy caught my eye and matched my name, so I took it.
Occansionally, I still use D0g from HL2 or The Dog from Footrot Flats

Not much to tell, really. Samurai culture has always been of interest for me. While I was looking for some decent tat-worthy samurai pics online I came across that one...wouldn't really work for a tattoo, but it's a nice avatar.

The avatar is taken from a teaser movie for a game that never got on the market; also I forgot the games name so I don't know if it actually got on the market or not :D

Seriously now, I was in Wellington a few years ago when i saw a Tui (NZ Bird - Two - ee) in a tree and took a photo called "Tui". I then saw two Tui's and took another photo "Tui Tui". I then got a "Tui Tui Tui" photo :)

ps: not an avatar but there was an interesting story behind the name "Weclock". I think it's interesting because it was my story... Not sure where it is though.

I work as a chemist and am a bit of a caffeine addict, so the avatar I'm using seemed appropriate.

I like Miles Davis, the Prince of Darkness. He was a great trumpet player and a better bandleader. I can listen to anything by Miles, from his "Cool" stuff from back in the latelate 40's, early 50's, to his dense jazz-rock-funk from the 70's. Not a fan of his 80-90's output but everyone has to make some crap albums.
