Usually at 12:00 CET – new releases Tuesday, Thursday and promos Wednesday, Friday.

but sometimes there are special ocassions and we get a bunch of new games during special announcements (like the upcoming live stream next month)

On the other hand for smaller news/contests it seems that Twitter&Facebook and NOT gog.com is GOG's primary tool :-(

correct, for the facebook news, you can visit gogwiki.com, as we fetch the facebook news feed from there... so no need to visit that page ;)

The GOG store seems to update around 10:00 GMT. That's 3:00 where I am, two and a half hours from now, when most people where I live should be deep in slumber. Though, if GOG can get Carmageddon out the gate without some odd issue like shifting higher than third gear (*ahem*) or banner artwork needing to be redone, I suppose one could expect the same time today as well.
