SirCabbage: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/downwardviral/z-2

I suggest Z. It is ending soon, and up till litterally just a couple of mins ago it needed help.

It is an awesome sounding single and multiplayer PC/MAC/Facebook/iOS Zombie card game with all cards earnable ingame, and an awesome RPG style of dungeon crawling card game.
Nice project. Would have added to the list, but it's going to end in around 40 hours.

Also, added Bad Planet.

AstralWanderer: I'm intrigued by this also, but there's no mention of a DRM-free offering
Oh but they did. Have a look at the image that explains the different overfunding goals:

The $500,000 tier for the remaster in the new engine says "DRM-free, PC, Steam".

and the $1,000,000 tier for DG2 also says "DRM-free, PC, Steam".

But before you go "Yay! *pledge-pledge-pledge*", it turns out that they mean DRM-free on Steam.
There is a DRM-free option on Steam now according to our engineering staff. I don't know how many games are taking advantage of it, but I'm told it does exist.
I feel more than a bit lied to.
A campaign on Kickstarter made me post on the forums, just to make sure it goes through. What has the world come to.

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2142391904/legacy-of-the-last-refuge-revenge-of-the-old-schoo

It's probably plenty more oldschool than quite a lot of you guys here are used to, but if you fondly remember RPGs of the late 80s and very early 90s, it should capture your interest.

The alpha they've attached is very stable, for anyone who feels like checking out what it is all about.

chao8971: Here is a project that I think could use some attention. Simon Strange and the people at Sunstone Games want to bring us another Kaiju fighting game. These people are mostly known for their work on the Godzilla fighting games.

These games are pretty fun and to see them work on a new giant monster game would be nice to see. Kaiju Combat is their new idea for a game.The link can be found here for Kaiju Combat
Kaiju Combat is one Kickstarter I really think has potential. The previous Godzilla games were awesome. Back this project, and make it happen:

Well it seems we're getting new hundred dollar Android based console called OUYA . It's already funded over 4.5 times what they asked for meaning over 4.5 million $ in pledges so far with 26 days still to go (yes, that's over 4.5 million in just four days).

Specifications:

Specifications:

* Tegra3 quad-core processor
* 1GB RAM
* 8GB of internal flash storage
* HDMI connection to the TV, with support for up to 1080p HD
* WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
* Bluetooth LE 4.0
* USB 2.0 (one)
* Wireless controller with standard controls (two analog sticks, d-pad, eight action buttons, a system button), a touchpad
* Android 4.0

It's well on it's way of becoming one of the bigger success stories on Kickstarter. I just hope it does not turn out to be waporware in the end.

Edit: Oh, it's already mentioned. Would've expected it to be put in Technology/Hardware/Software rather than Video Games (or related)

Echoes of Aeons is a nice 2.5D (point and click adventure style) RPG.

I just stumbled upon this article on Ouya at Penny Arcade: Might be worth a read

Added Echoes of Aeons, Kaiju Combat, Legacy of the Last Refuge
A new adventure from Pendulo Studios named "Day One" - seems to be interesting:

Hmmm - at least you got a reply! Others have mentioned Steam offering some "DRM-free" titles that can be run without their client, but if you have to create a Steam account (and sign up to their EULA) and install the client, that still makes it a no-go for me.

However, there's plenty more other stuff on KS:

Boargames:
Mage Tower, A Tower Defense Card Game (Aug 12)
*just about qualifies as a board game thanks to stretch goal extras!*
Kanzume Goddess (Aug 18)
*this Japanese take on ancient Greek/Norse mythology won't be for everyone, not least with artwork that does for gender equality what Attila the Hun did for social reform, but manga fans may adore it*

PC Games:
3D Dictionary 「SanJiten」 (Jul 27)
*a potentially useful language learning tool*
SpaceChem: Limited Edition (Jul 30)
*has been available in digital form for a while - this is for those wanting a physical copy*
OURFIRG - 3D Adventure Game (Aug 4)

Films:
Lady Dragon - a short film (Aug 25)
*more restrained cleavage than Kanzume Goddess (like that's saying much!) but whoever thought a paleontologist was so much into leather?*

Accessories:
PennyGems II, a Pale Imitation (Jul 28)
*an expansion on a previously successful KS project - note that these are labels to be stuck onto an appropriately sized coin*
GameScope- Precision Video Game Optic System (Aug 11)
*targeted (ha ha) at FPS gamers - a scope this small could have plenty of other uses but for gaming it seems more likely to show how cr*ppy your monitor is*

Added Ourfirg, Sanjiten, Pennygems II and Mage Tower. Thanks Astral!

Annette Lawless is really hot btw.
Lady Dragon - that's sooo bad. Plus I dislike women who move their neck while talking.
This one looks pretty promising. It's called Wicked Crush and it's set in a huge dungeon that takes areas from an online server that other people have made.

I like the art style. Although the combat seems a little on the stiff and uneventful side. (although that's probably just because it's in early development)

Siannah: My last call for Carbon Grey. 50 hours left and just a measly 1162 bucks left to cross the finish line.

Anyone seeing him- / herself even remotely interested in comics, should consider to back this one up or to check it out.
Hoang just released the PDF of Volume 2 Issue 1. WOOHOO!
Why isn't Super Retro Squad on the list ? Of all people, GOGers should appreciate Pavlina's reimagining of Super Mario Brothers Crossover...
