nijuu: Yeah too many KS projects. Too little money lol

I would hazard to guess it will most likely be on Steam. They aren't and indie... so will likely follow what the publisher wants sadly...
That's what I'm fearing too. They chose steam with Civ5 so it's likely but haven't seen confirmation yet. At least there's Xenonauts as alternative unlike in Civ5's case. I just wan't to know if I'm wasting time reading news about the game as if it's Steam exlusive, I won't be buying it.

One of the reasons I'm investing in KS projects is to push the DRM free initiative and it has worked in many cases.

AstralWanderer: Given how many of the pledge levels include the backer's name in the end credits, they should include a pillow for those prepared to sit through them (and I thought Lord of the Rings' 10-15 minute credit list was bad enough).
Fast Forward is very effective in that case :D

Interesting update : Skyjacker project is going to relaunch.
I don't know if another project has stopped / restarted before. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/digitilus/skyjacker/posts/232238

With this DRM-free initiative I hope most interesting games will show up on GOG.

nijuu: So has the flow of new and interesting indie games kinda slowed down on KS now? :P.
See for yourself, muahaha...

Chipped Dagger (retro 2D medieval fantasy MMORPG) (May 27)
Artifasia (May 27)
The Lost World (Project Crynosaurs) (May 31)
Eunomi (Jun 7)
Kingdom of Epicland (Jun 12)
Lodestar: Stygian Skies - Tactical Science Fiction RPG (Jun 15)
Coldenlight (Jun 16)
Gunswords: Tin Soldiers (Jun 16)
TorchShips - Real 3-D Space Combat (Jun 18)
Embers of Caerus Investor Prototype (Jun 19) note: $25,000 goal seems very low for an MMO...
George Romero in Zombie Squash Game (Jun 22) note: not that Romero...
Metal Savior (Jun 29)
Void Rim: A Multiplayer, Turn-Based Strategy Game (Jun 30)
Cold Fusion Secular Equilibrium A Post Apocalyptic Indie RPG (Jul 2)

Another boardgame worth reviewing (I overlooked this initially thinking it to be a CCG):

Road to Enlightenment (May 31)

PurplePawn also have a list of Kickstarter projects, focusing on board games, RPGs, miniatures and related items.

Spate Managed to hit its funding goal with just under 2 days to go. In case anybody was interesting. It looks like it's going to be an interesting game, although, I do wonder if they're going to have enough money to make it work.
I just see the Wasteland project, but it already has closed. :o(
Is there a way to back this project or do I have to wait until the game is finished?

You can pre-order the game through inXile's Wasteland 2 website.

None shall know the coming.

Seriously though, I don't think it matters one way or the other, but if you want support for something other than Windows you'd be best buying it directly from them.

As much as I like GOG, it is a Windows only site and Wasteland 2 is going to have ports available. That may or may not be a concern for you.

It would be nice to know if GOG was going to sell this, if they would I could support both Wastland 2 and GOG that way.
For the moment I'm just interested in the Windows version, although I appreciate it that they make other versions too. Still $20 isn't much for a new game these days, especially for a game that might be better than Fallout 3.
The only thing I'm worried about is that my computer is too slow for this game, but then I will buy a better computer someday anyway.

Price maybe a bit high for GOG but it could be an exception (there has been a few) considering the potential quality of the game (and the developers behind it). Still a long way off til its due to be completed so time will tell.....
For anybody interested, Skyjacker is about to close and reopen a new KS page with more reward tiers. Not sure about what other changes they're planning on making. Just FYI for you guys.
The Story of Flewn
Just go check it out. Just beautiful.

For the interactive story you need one of the following devices: iPhone/iPad/iPod, Kindle Fire, Nook Color or Mac.

Just read a bit more about them.
Looks like they thought 30days was too short and so looks like they relaunch so would have a longer window open and try to advertise it better this time around. Seems gist of the comments. Sorta looks OK project but i dunno... lol

A lot of the KS projects really need more than 30 days for that very reason. If it's something like DFA, Shadowrun, LSL or Wasteland, 30 days should be more than enough. But if it's something where there isn't already a substantial audience that can be quickly reached, 30 days can be short by a half or more.

Spate ultimately managed it anyways, which is quite impressive. But, I'm a bit surprised as it's a real indie game made by unknowns without a demo available. But, they did only ask for $12k.
