Unrest

-- an RPG set in ancient India
-- no failstates, just failures; the story continues after characters die
-- combat serves the story
-- more about political and social intrigue and less about fulfilling your destiny
-- DRM-free for PC, Mac & Linux
Pretty sure the project has been mentioned already, but just wanted to give AR-K a quick shout out. They've managed to raise a significant amount of money this last week and are up to $61k with just 650 backers. They still need another 40k with only two days left though.
Things look grim for AR-K... Drop them some money, people, even if (especially if) they never reach their goal.
On a differently grim note - the graveyard simulator still needs a relatively small injection of cash (under $1200) to offer us a larger cemetery to visit. 45h to go, a mere $5 will preorder you the game.

Nelly Cootalot: The Fowl Fleet! (Retro Pirate Adventure)
OP updated.
Latest additions

I also removed CDF Ghostship. Although there's gameplay footage in there, after some consideration, the project overall just doesn't inspire confidence.

Also, has anyone tried the Kingsport Cases alpha?
AR-K's at 79% with 11 hours to go.
Boon Hill needs $264 more dollars within 5 hours to reach a pretty important stretch goal (that is: "even bigger" graveyand).

Hilariously enough - both projects have about 800 supporters, even though AR-K is at about $80,000 compared to Boon Hill's $12,000.

AR-K is $6.000 away from hitting its funding goal with less than an hour to go. Can they make it? They're going a bit crazy with add-on rewards now.
You do realise that includes a flumph, don't you? A FLUMPH!!

Gamebook fans who've not already done so should take a look at Holdfast, now in its final few days. It's increased in size up to about 700 sections and if all the remaining stretch goals are met, this could increase to over 1,000.

More projects to check out:

Boardgames:
DrunkQuest: The 90 Proof Seas (Jun 1)
Expansion to DrunkQuest (base game included at higher pledge levels) - the fantasy drinking game where you can wreck your friends' livers!
Among the Stars: The Ambassadors (Jun 26)
Space station construction game - is an expansion for Among the Stars, which is also available at appropriate pledge levels.
Cornish Smuggler (Jul 6)
Probably a must for anyone who's been blindsided by Customs...

PC Games:
Intergalactic Expedition (Jun 9)
Space colonisation game (final goal is Saturn's moon, Titan) with an educational slant.
The Great War: 1914-1918 (Jul 10)
World War I simulations are rare, this could break that mould.

RPG:
The World Beneath the Clouds: Steampunk RPG Venus Sourcebook (Jun 13)
Venus sourcebook for the Hive, Queen and Country RPG - other books also available.
Mekton Zero (Jun 22)
Another "oldie" arises - R Talisorian with an update to their first game, Mekton.

Accessories:
Red Box Games Dwarves, and Goblins, and Orcs (Jun 16)
Attractive miniature range, many being modular. Backers have to calculate their own shipping costs though.
Anodized aluminum Settlers of Catan game pieces (Jun 17)
Pimp up your Settlers game. Seafarers pieces available too.
Giant 2 Inch Soft Foam Polyhedral Dice (Jun 18)
Tired of small 16 or 19mm dice? These could be just the ticket...
Dungeonstone 3D Terrain - Caves and Caverns Set (Jun 21)
Resin cave pieces, available painted or unpainted. Only one smaller set for international backers.

charbon: A mix between rogue-like and survival horror. And it looks freaking gorgeous too : http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/darkwood

cyboff: Yeah, this looks really awesome! Funding this is a MUST!
Darkwood looks great, I'm surprised more people didn't back it yet.
Cause it's on Indiegogo
Darkwood seems like a nice concept for the horror genre. I was very close to backing it. It's DRM free, has a low price, and the gameplay shown in the video looks interesting. What's stopping me is their "backer-exclusive" version (Adept tier), with exclusive in-game items.
This sort of thing is like a red flag for me- having an extra (special) version of their DRM free game exclusive for a specific backer tier.
(Dreamfall Chapters pulled this too, near the end of their kickstarter campaign)
