Yes, I can see that giving rise to some innovative tactics:

Loot, loot, pillage, burn, loot, raze, loot, check helmet horns, loot...
I feel bad for these guys: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/bumblebee/days-of-dawn-discover-the-magic/posts/406670

Their game is called Days of Dawn and it's their second attempt. They're even over 60% of the way this time but with only just over 50 hours left.

They can't seem to catch a break.

Nintendo have given them a Wii U devkit-that's pretty big news for a unfunded kickstarter to already appear on a home console.

Yeah I just read about that.

Well it seems like they'll still be in a good position even if this fails then.

The only problem is Nintendo have only given "permission" or registered them for Wii U and not fund them I think which still brings the question of what happens if this fails, but if the campaign succeeds,

"I hereby promise: If we make it through this campaign successfully there will be a WiiU-version of the game. We may come back later for another WiiU-specific funding, we may find a publisher, we may even do it all on our own, but it will come."

Hopefully the Wii U exposure will be enough to finish the campaign's funding.

I've been trying to advertise them a little (see this thread for example), but personally I think that their mistake the second time was raising the prices. I think that if they had left the reward tiers as on the first Kickstarter they would have gotten the vast majority of backers back early on, and would have had several weeks to get from $30k to $50k. As is they only now reached the sum of they got the first time.

When I initially read their pledge, there were some comments from people who'd pledged the first time around, asking them to increase the number of early bird slots so they could have a shot at them, but the devs didn't seem too amenable to that. =\
More, more, more! :)

Boardgames:
Loka: The World Of Fantasy Chess (Mar 24)
A very good looking chess set (pieces require painting) from the makers of and [url=https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1744629938/kings-of-war]Kings of War.
Empires of Zidal Deck Building Board Game (Mar 25)
Empire-building token-collecting card game. With a company name like "Dog Breath Games" what could possibly go wrong?
Empire of the Dead: REQUIEM (Mar 26)
Miniatures expansion for Empire of the Dead Victorian Steampunk Gothic game.
War Stories (Apr 8)
Conquistador games, with 3 previous KS projects completed (Road to Enlightenment, The New Science and Tomorrow), now present 2 card and counter-based WW2 games with miniatures available also!

PC Games:
Beyond Beyaan (Feb 27)
Open source 4X space strategy promising configurable rules (ship stacking, starlanes, etc).
STARBASE ORION: Now Colonizing Android + PC + Mac! (Mar 6)
An atypical port - from iOS to PC/Mac/Android rather than the other way round.
Omega (Apr 6)
Exploration platformer, where you play a wolf trying to save the world.

Accessories:
Free Roll Machined Gamers Dice (Apr 9)
More dice! 6-sided in brushed aluminium/aluminum with rounded corners and a choice of pip/dot colours.
Don't know if these were mentioned:

NanoLight - The world's most energy efficient lightbulb!

Next Generation LiveCode (Open Source)

LiveCode doesn't have much time left and is still at only 60%. I hope it does make it, because I think it's a worthwhile platform and creating a new generation and making it open source would be very nice.
