This one looks interesting (lots of information in the KS page and site) but they will have trouble with this big goal, a non-famous name and absence of gameplay video:

Did find it on the starting page, but want to add my love to: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1967151915/road-to-pandemonium/?ref=kicktraq

Comic, ends soon (58 hrs), still needs 1/3 of its goal (5500$)... looks great.

Take a look.

Cheers

Radio the Universe - http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1548272412/radio-the-universe-0

"I blended classic Zelda and dark science fiction and drank the ensuing mixture. It was Radio the Universe.

Players will feel aesthetic and gameplay influences from titles like Yume Nikki, Symphony of the Night, Hotline Miami, and Dark Souls, with a tinge of 2D JRPGs thrown into the mix.

RtU is a challenging and atmospheric sci-fi game with SNES-style visuals and a sinister, offbeat narrative."

This looks very intriguing indeed
I usually roll my eyes when someone makes a 'dark' game, but Radio the Universe looks like Majora's Mask mixed with Persona 4. I think that I will pick up a copy. :)

Looks very interesting. although I wish he gave a bit more of an indication as to what the story is.

Ehdrigohr: The Roleplaying Game. It's based on Fate (but will have alternate rules), has a nice concept and world background (IMO) and some very nice art.

tarohilt: Plus it is misleading to call it a point and click adventure game when it has turn based RPG combat.

ET3D: Quest for Glory is usually considered an adventure game, so I don't think it's too much of a stretch to call this an adventure game too.
Probably the OP missed the detail that Red Queen of Oz will have the story and mechanics of an adventure game with *completely optional* turn-based RPG combat. This makes it more obviously an adventure game than the original Quest for Glory games, which had mandatory combat in places. In this respect it is more like the Coles' upcoming Hero-U series, which will allow players to finish the game without any combat if they so desire.

Also note that the developer is known for the Delaware St. John series of indie adventure games, so he does know the genre and would not be likely to make that claim if this were going to be an RPG instead.

Thanks for the link. I remember his comics which had interesting heroines but I didn't feel like pledging for KS comics back then. This is a different matter :).

They're Black Isle only in name, the old devs are working in other places now, especially Obsidian and Inxile, And anyone smart enough will not donate money for these guys especially to create a prototype, not a full game, without any rewards except forum access...

The whole Black Isle thing is, if not quite a scam, a blatant and shameless cash-grab from fans too stupid or blinded by nostalgia to know better.
They're seriously asking for funding to make a prototype, in exchange for nothing at all (well, access to their forums, but if those are open only to backers they'll be empty enough to count as nothing).

As for the "Save Interplay" thing, I doesn't strike as a particularly bright idea to give money to someone I don't know to buy a skeleton of a company that doesn't own anything capable of making money.
Especially if said someone has admitted in not so many words to not knowing the first thing about running a company.

Anyway, Interplay should have died a long time ago, even though their continued survival at least was good for GOG.
