Jarmo: The cheapest simplest logitech. A little more money and they feel obliged to add ergonomic design features and extra buttons making the mouse awkward to use.

tburger: This. I have classic (2 buttons + wheel) optical Logitech M-BJ69. Bought it 8 years ago - still runs flawlessly. I tried more 'ergonomic' models equipped with side buttons etc - just don't like it. Guess I'm too old :-)
Old days, mouse were neutral for both dominant hand.
Nowadays, almost high grade mouse are made for right hand dominant.
I prefer many buttons, but 'ergonomic' design for right-handed people bother me.
Less than 30 euro and durable.

Never thought of it (I'm right handed) - but I guess you might be right. Nevertheless I don't like those modern-shaped mouses. And the same goes for modern phones. For me classic Nokia shapes (like 8250: slim bottom - wider top) were best.

If you're after an ergonomic left handed mouse, you only have one option. Fortunately, it's an awesome option, the Razer Death Adder left handed edition. Someone on gog recommended it to me, and I haven't looked back since.
I like my MX Revolution.

I know the number of buttons doesn't attract you, but mine have become very handy (pardon the pun) shift and ctrl mapped to forwards and back and the rest various letters, along with volumouse I don't have a need to touch my keyboard unless actually writing something or some gaming

7 years ago,I saw Logitech's mouse made for left-handed.
It's not attractive,so I choose G7.
Razer's one is seemingly not bad,but Lachesis is more attractive for me.

I'm right-dominant but prefer to use left hand with various work, such as tooth brushing, nail hammering, eat with chopstick... ,and mouse controlling.
Neutral and wireless mouse is my favourite one.
