GlassAgate: [in a creepy voice] They're coming to get you, Barbara!

I can't believe that nobody listed this movie.

They're coming for you, Barbara!

Chimerical: It is getting harder to tell which are black and white movie these days, they are getting pretty good at colourizing them. I know I have seen a few that I think of as being in colour which are actually black and white movies.
Even without that (fuck colourized movies and fuck all the accomplices to that shit), it's somethimes strangely difficult to remember whether a movie you saw was in colour or black/white. I hesitated to mention treasure of the sierra madre, but it might be in colour, and I was too lazy to check. I have also the weird issue of remembering all melville movies as black and white for some reason...

I agree it is sometimes difficult, I have heard that people used to report that they saw b&w tv shows in colour. Just for the record I'm not saying all b&w movies should be colourized, I just have seen a few and learned after the fact that they were original b&w. (don't be mad at me, I'm not an accomplice)
Ah, it's so hard to choose one!
I must say "12 Angry Men", even if many come to mind: "Judgment at Nuremberg", "The Third Man", "M", etc.
Psycho
Harvey
Mr Smith goes to Washington
Casablanca
The Day the Earth Stood Still
Young Frankenstein

Was Breakfast at Tiffany's black and white or color? I remember it being black and white, but have only seen color VHS and DVDs.
Psycho, Hitchcock's "Birds" and Angels with Dirty Faces.

IMDB says it was colour

Frankenstein Junior, Psycho and The Night of the Living Dead.
Star Wars III-V...when my TV is broken ;)

...but probably The Third Man and The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes with the proper Holmes and Watson aka Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce - marvelous
