I remember playing this old Windows puzzle game, but I can't remember what it's called. It had a bunch of balls/spheres in a pyramid shape. It was a pseudo-3d effect, but not actual 3d. If I remember, there were 16 spheres on the bottom, then 9, then 4, then one at the top. And the goal was to remove the spheres in a certain order. I think the spheres were gold in color and the platform looked like wood. Does anyone know what this game was called? The name sounded something like kairo/pyros, but looking up those 2 names did not return the correct result.

Was it a puzzle-bobble game ?

It sounds like a computer version of the Pyramystery puzzle. I'm afraid I don't know what that one is called. More of a Soma Cube guy myself. :)

Yes! That is the right track! Now if I could just figure out what was the name of the game itself.
So now I know the computer game is based off of a puzzle game called "Pyramystery" (thanks IAmSinistar!). But I'm still trying to figure out what is the name of the Windows version. Does anyone else have any ideas?
I still wish someone could help me out in finding the name of this Pyramystery-based computer game. Does anyone have any ideas?
I remember a shareware Mahjongg game with spheres rather than tiles:
Steve Moraff's Spherejongg

The only reason I remember the fella's name is because every time you closed the app, an audio file would play:
"I'm Steve Moraff. Please purchase these games."

I looked at the link in your post, but it's not the same game. The game had spheres arranged in a pyramid-like structure. And I remember the player could only remove one sphere at a time. That's all I can remember.
