Agree with all the last posts. Besides, let's be frank: would the videogame market be the same without the "supersales"? What about the rise of the indies? A lot of developers made their fortune by tempting the players with very affordable games and earning their favor with great games that would have probably been overlooked if sold at full price, and now in a certain sense they can compete even with the major publishers (see the new "indie politics" of Micrsoft and Sony: they know that today a platform without indies is bound to fail). Moreover, nobody forces them to drop the prices, so if they go on sale so often it's probably because they planned it ahead on the expectation of a certain outcome.
