between The Longest Journey,Under a Killing Moon,Myst or Gabriel Knight Sins of the Fathers which do you guys thinks is the best?

I have not played UaKM yet (for shame!), but of the remaining three, it's GK, hands down. I did not really like TLJ (I thought the writing in that one was rather weak, which is unfortunate, because there is an awful lot of it) and Myst is a very special case -- not bad, mind you, but not really a comparable experience to the others. These days, it's more of a museum exhibit than a game.

From those you mentioned I've played only TLJ and GK and GK has my vote. It's one of the best (if not THE best) adventure game I've ever played.

The Longest Journey! Closely followed by Gabriel Knight. I couldn't get into Tex Murphy for some reason.

But if I had to choose, I would go for GK.

Gabriel Knight and The Longest Journey are both great games. I would recommend The Longest Journey if you can only afford one but they're both worth getting. I have yet to play Tex Murphy and I don't like Myst, but a lot of people do.

The Longest Journey is the only game of those which I have played, but I wasn't able to finish it due to an nvidia problem. If you have nvidia, you may want to play one of the other games. Other than that, it was fun, and it really is the Longest Journey, so you do get a good bang for your buck.

Myst is awesome. But only for a certain type of person.

I bought GKSOTF and UAKM.one question about UAKM:how much noir is it?because I love film noir.hell,I was hyped up to L.A Noir to the point that I was one of the first to pre-order it.
