I like the theory of RTS, but I am crap at them.

FPS without doubt. Their soulless march forward deeper and deeper into the "USA vs Not America" swamp of brown, grey, shaky-cam hell is just depressing. Of course, some of them are genuinely good, but it's rather like finding a diamond inside a towering mountain of putrid shit.

Sport games (including racing) and sims.
Never played a sim, only sport game I liked was California games.

I also don't favour hardcore games in any genre as I simply don't have the time to put too much effort in them. Which is why I have a slight preference for games which are divided in episodes, mission, maps, etc.
