Let's see... I've been playing a lot of Team Fortress 2, trying to grind out a couple more achievements that I haven't gotten for the various classes. Plus, it's just a rocking good time. I'm also trying to better my Left 4 Dead skills. I've yet to finish a campaign on Expert, but that's largely because I'm still a little intimidated by it, and I don't really want to go into an Expert game with strangers.
Despite having logged like 130+ hours in L4D, I'm not sure I have the chops to "not be the worst guy" on a team, and I hate being the worst guy on a team that everyone has to babysit, which is another reason why I haven't really played much Expert. I can usually manage to stay alive on Advanced, but I've been spoiled by Normal and Survival modes in which killing the tank fast is actually a viable (and in the case of Survival even a necessary) course of action. In Advanced and up, you kinda really do have to fight a running engagement for a prolonged period, and while I can evade, I just... tend not to.
I've also been working my way through Starlancer. I was debating picking up Tachyon off Steam, but reading some reviews of the game, a lot of them seemed to agree that games like Freespace and Starlancer (which were contemporaries of Tachyon) were just better games. And since I own both Freespace and Starlancer, I just decided to play those instead. Since I made a Freespace 2 run not too long ago, I reinstalled Starlancer.
And, I'm also working on Mercenaries 2 (again) on my PS3. (Mostly because I want to log some trophies for it. :D
