reading the reviews leads me to believe the games aren't that great, anybody have an interesting story about them?

No problem. I'm kinda surprised though, that there are still games that the mighty Weclock doesn't own =)

I'm stingy, and don't like many games, and won't buy games I'm not interested in.
There are many times GOG releases a game and I will go "whoopee now lets see if you can release something I'm actually interested in buying."
All the games on the picture are from Interplay btw, so the picture might be never changed sine the beginning of gog. Interplay was the first big publisher on gog, or not?
Lionheart is a pretty average RPG that nobody should play before Divine Divinity, Arcanum, Nox, Revenant, Baldur's Gate, Gothic, Avencast, etc...

Lionheart is not a bad game, it's just that the system that worked for the Fallout games isn't that great as the base of a hack-n-slash game. The battle is just too much of a pain, otherwise it is quite interesting and has a nice atmsphere.
COTNW is a real underdog. Although it is quite a nice colony management/TBS hybrid, with a stunning amount of historical knowledge and trivia stuffed into it (in form of the Colonial Gazette), many a a people haven't ever heard of it or have bothered to take a closer look at it, due to its somewhat dull look.
