Hello!
I think it's great to see that GOG is moving to Mac and offering newer games without DRM.
But what I am missing are some of the really old games, that can not be bought so easy as the newer ones released lately. Especially I miss more adventures from EA and Sierra. Both publishers are in GOGs catalogue:
What about
- Heart of China (Sierra)
- Larry (Sierra)
- The Lost Files of Sherlock Holmes (EA)
for example?
I hoped to see these and others at some point after the publishers were on GOG but for a very long time now nothing has happened...

PS: I have given up hope to see LucasArts Games here at some point....

Even thought it was publisher by Sierra, Heart of China was made by Dynamix so it's possible that it's somebody else than Activision that has the rights for those games and for Larry, even thought Codemaster is on GoG we haven't had any games from them for quite a while.
The only thing I know from Sierra is Pepper's Adventures in Time, but that game was awesome. I was like 6, so I had no idea how to do anything, but it was still awesome.
There were the Laura Bow games... I only played the second, but it was a fun game! It's called "The Dagger of Amon Ra".

The first game was made by the Roberta Williams.

Great game, though sadly the Sega CD version is the one to play and no one could ever sell that on PC I would guess.

When I think of old adventure games not on GOG, I think Blue Force.
Al Lowe said the chances of seeing the original Leisure Suit Larry is low.

- The Lost Files of Sherlock Holmes (EA)
Both have been replublished in compo discs. Check Amazon and you should be able to find them. Basically if they can publish it themselves why move to GOG?

I wouldn't mind seeing Manhunter: New York and its sequel someday as well.

Wasn't there an RPG by Sierra also called the "Throne of Dragons?" I've got a red box on my shelf and it looks like it says "Throne of Dragons" (lol, my room is such a wreck right now I can't get over to the shelf to pull it off and read it...lol) and I could've sworn that was from Sierra as well.

EDIT: nm, I moved a couple of boxes, got closer, and that thing reads "Throne of Darkness" not Throne of Dragons. I was wondering if it was possible these two games were getting mixed up, but no, my bad, this one doesn't have the word dragon in the title at all. Still couldn't get close enough to pull it off the shelf to see if it was a Sierra game though. lol

I just thought of another Sierra game I played when younger.

It was a side scroller called "Hunter Hunted", that involved a multi-layered 2d world. The head-to-head fighting was a blast!

One neat feature was that instead of being just simple 2d platforming, it added layers- forefront and background. When you got to a doorway and pressed up, it would bring you to a different layer, allowing "3d" environment, whilst remaining 2d.

Here's a sample of some of the gameplay on single player:
