I was really surprised to see that you are using WeiDU for packing and installation of Infinity Games. Did you modify BGMain.exe somehow so it cannot be patched now?
A no-CD patch has been applied, which does, admittedly, make it different to the original. Beyond that, I don't know of any differences.
It's not true. The GOG version installs some sort of DirectDraw fix with WeiDU without prior consent of the user. In fact, this fix is bad. It causes some lag in the game. I've reinstalled the game and installed the original version from CDs and applied No-CD patch, then reinstalled DirectX and this lag has gone. Now to the question: why are you including this kind of fixes into the original game without any info? Why do you mess with my DX system files and replace them with the Wine version? Why do you decide for me on replacing system files? You don't even ask me if I want this Wine or not! Please repack the GOG installation of the games and remove this DirectDraw fix or make it optional. If you use WeiDU you are supposed to know how to make the installed components optional.

EDIT: Oh, you guys even go further and disable DPI scaling in Windows! I don't need your hacks in my Windows, I've just wanted a clean installation of the game without CDs! According to my understanding, this is what GOG about or at least should be about.
