Setting up WeGame again on my W7, and it says it can't record sound from my system. It says I need to enable "Stereo Mix" under my Recording tab in my sound settings, but I see no such setting. I see two microphones, two Line Ins, and one Digital Audio (S/PDIF). Any idea what I need to do?

What is it with you and sound problems?
What brand of soundcard do you have? Have you used the advanced settings in the recording sources panel to display all options (I assume 7 has something like this)

Dude, I had a similar problem when I was sorting out Windows 7 on my netbook for skype. I followed this video and read this. It also might be that WeGame thinks you're on vista.
Edit: Sorry being rather lazy, I pulled my finger out and booted up my netbook.
I just reminded myself that I had to install vista drivers for the on-board sound to make the 'Stereo Mix' to pop up when I 'Showed all disabled devices' Etc. From there I was able to enable it, as under Windows 7 it defaults as disabled. You need to go and locate the drivers for your sound card and kludge an install of them (the drivers should work even under W7)

Yes, I got it to show all hidden and disabled audio devices, and Stereo Mix did not show up. My Alienware documents say I have an Integrated High Definition Audio Driver, so I'll see if I can find a website where I can download drivers for it.
UPDATE: My Alienware support site says the full name is
INTEGRATED HIGH-DEF AUDIO NVIDIA C55-MB, though I'm having some troubles finding the correct driver for that.
ANOTHER UPDATE: What do you know, driver update was on CD! Man, I've got to stop freaking out when I get small errors like this. I'm like the guy who locks himself out of his own car, so he needs to pay some service an insane price so they unlock the car for him. Thanks for the help anyway.

S'cool, I raged when I couldn't fix it, but realised I was expecting a little much from Windows 7. It'll be great when its finally and properly supported.

As long as you never get to the point where you panic because you've locked yourself INSIDE your own car

Oh, that reminds me of a video from somewhere (Failblog, I think) but I don't have time to find it right now.
