Well, let's not forget that you have three different difficulty levels. The middle one is what I use and it's challenging but not THAT painful.
Also - there are three important elements that make the game possible: active pause (you can and SHOULD issue orders while the game is paused), order queues (if you already know what a character is supposed to do - order for him beforehand so you won't have to keep on eye on him all the time) and game speed adjustable on the fly (and the lowest speed is lower than bullet time ;).

As can, obviously, charging in without proper preparations (or at the wrong place and/or at the wrong time). That's what's great about this game, don't you think ?
Use your imagination, comrade Petrell. It should be a lot easier than sympathizing with the Overmind in SC ;).

A good sale if you do not have them, but I am looking forward to a "Make Your Own" sale; where you can pick any one game and receive 25% off! :o)

I third Original War and the only game i don't have is Haegemonia (haven't played Celtic yet)
The reviews seem okay and the gripes it's got from others don't seem to bother me too much. Wonder if I should though. It's not like I don't have a bunch of games already on the list of waiting to be played.
Oh, how I long for my teenage years with homework being my only real responsibility. Then again, I'd be strapped for cash, so no thanks.

If I understand correctly, if one already owned OW, he needs to redownload the installer for the fix to work? Or would applying the unofficial patch wield the same result? Also, was there a related version bump of OW or there was a standalone multiplayer fix?
BTW, how about removing the "Multiplayer issue: multiplayer mode originally built into Original War game is no longer available. For details see: Support" line from game description and adding the "Game was patched to XXX version" instead?
