All gun-wielding and spell-casting fanatics should prepare for a gaming feast, as GOG.com has prepared a special selection of EA titles available with a 50% discount this weekend only.

What’s in store for you? Just some of the best gun-totin’, spell-slingin’ action that you can get from EA. , [url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/crusader_no_remorse]Crusader: No Remorse, Crusader: No Regret, , [url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/lands_of_lore_1_2]Lands of Lore: The Throne of Chaos and Lands of Lore 2: Guardians of Destiny, and Magic Carpet are all on sale in this promo, so if you’ve been thinking about picking any of these games up, now’s the time to hop in and see some of the best classics in our catalog!

Syndicate presents the player with a simple goal: world domination. As a “Marketing Director”--or, more accurately, a hitman--for a new syndicate, the player will need to lead a squad of four operatives to infiltrate, capture, search, and destroy their way to the top of the corporate food chain. If you want to learn how to “properly” run a company or just want to prepare before some business negotiations, grab Syndicate for only $2.99.

In Crusader: No Remorse you are a Silencer, a former member of an elite soldier group of the World Economic Consortium, now a renegade member of the Resistance. You’re equipped with a crazy arsenal ranging from conventional guns that shoot bullets, to rocket launchers, microwave gun, or even a plasma cannon. These are all available for your havoc-wreaking pleasure--and the great gameplay comes with real life actors and awesome cut scenes! Crusader: No Regret boasts the same awesome gameplay as its predecessor but in a more streamlined fashion and with an even more dizzying variety of weaopns. Wait no more and complete the epic storyline of the Crusader series for only $2.99 each.

Nox is an isometric action-RPG brew from the masters at the famous Westwood Studios. Ordinary guy Jack Mower, due to a cosmic accident and the actions by the evil Queen of Necromancers, is sucked into a parallel universe called Nox. This being a video game, that universe needs saving, and Jack’s the one to do it. Three separate storylines - one for each class - ensure many hours of memorable, addictive and FUN gaming. If you’re up to the challenge, Nox is available for $2.99 this weekend only on GOG.com.

Lands of Lore: The Throne of Chaos takes you on an adventure: save the dying king (voiced by The One And Only Patrick Stewart) and stop the evil sorceress Scotia’s Dark Army. Your band of heroes will travel through a vast fantasy world full of mysterious places, dangerous monsters, and hidden treasures in a quest to find a way to defeat the immortal evil enchantress and save the world. Lands of Lore 2: Guardians of Destiny takes the dungeon crawling experience you love and evolves it into the third dimension with real-time 3D graphics. See magical cities rise out of great oceans, enter the musty caverns of Dracoid ruins, discover gruesome altars, and witness secret ceremonies never before seen by humans for only $2.99.

Magic Carpet is an extraordinary action shooter game produced by Peter Molyneux. Shred the skies on the world’s fastest, most heavily armed (!) flying carpet. Apart from other wizards and genies fighting you over the oh so precious mana, you’ll encounter various fantasy monsters ready to devour you (like a hydra or a dragon) or convert mana into more monsters (like the crabs do ;)). Casting huge meteor showers or invoking a terrifying thunder storm for only $2.99--this is possible only this weekend on GOG.com.

Whether you’re a action junkie, a cynical cyberpunk, or someone who loves to go delving into the deepest dungeons, there’s something this weekend for you, so strap on your spurs, warm up your shooting hand, and have a blast!
Awesome promo!

I'm tempted by Magic Carpet, but my backlog is so large!

CrazyDiscoBall: The last fps to be released was either XII or Chaser, and they weren't any good!
What do you have against XIII? I absolutely loved it, and that's not nostalgia speaking since I'd never played it aside from the demo until I bought the game on GOG!

Seriously, I'm trying to save some money here. I'm not going to do very well if you keep having these sales. :D
Damn it. Between four games on the interplay sale then nabbing Ultima 1+2+3 and Ultima 8 last week to finish up my Ultima collection here, Soul Reaver, Outcast and now Syndicate and Lands of Lore 1+2 this week your slowly killing me GOG.

Not that is entirely a bad thing
I remember seeing Nox being advertised in a PC Gamer magazine (cira 2000) and yet missed out on playing it. Going to be picking up that game tomorrow. The other games will be bought eventually.
I have everything but No Regret.which I think I'll wait on for now.

Just be sure you don't regret it!
(Sorry...)
I bought NOX in a prior sale. Great fun! Put a lot of hours into it and still have plenty more. $3 is way too low.

Hoping they get Syndicate Wars someday. the original Syndicate looks so old now and I wonder if it can still be fun to play next to more modern alternatives. I have my old Amiga version so I really don't need another anyway.

On the topic of EA stuff, I'm hoping Populous and Populous II by Bullfrog get redos like Dungeon Master by FTL got with Grimrock. That 3rd Populous title (beginnings?) just didn't do it for me.

I know, it's always nice to see. Sadly I had no spare funds when they had the M&M sale a few weeks back I could of at least got the last three main M&M games
Got the Lands of Lore pack, primarily because of part 1!
is the expansion-pack "American Revolt" included in the GOG version of Syndicate?
I would buy Nox if it supported more languages.
This is actually true about a lot of GOG games for me. It's the only big feature missing in my opinion: more language support!

Lord_Santa: is the expansion-pack "American Revolt" included in the GOG version of Syndicate?
Due to a licencing issue the answer would be no
Already had Nox, though I never played it....forgot how good that was supposed to be. Also had Syndicate Plus, from way back when, but no way can I get that to work on even Win 98. So, I was down for Syndicate, Lands of Lore and Magic Carpet. All three on my wishlist, so cool beans!

One question....does this Syndicate include the bonus stuff my Syndicate Plus had?
Grab them before its too late.
