...And had a thought: Has anyone ever made a singleplayer game (Not tribes with bots, but full fledged singleplayer) that used the skiing mechanic? Cause I got the image of the dovahkiin jetting across Whiterun's plains, and it just made me smile.

The closest would be Heavy Gear.
