Which one is better? I've heard conflicting views about it. Some say 2 is better but some say 3 is.

edit: I bought 2, and if i like it ill consider 3. 2 was cheaper and some say its better so I might as well start with that.

The only way to solve that problem is to buy both. Sorry.

Depends what you're looking for. They're actually very similar, the main difference being that the 3rd is much more story-driven, while the second plays somewhat like Total War, you control the territory of your race, and you have to conquer all the other races.

I played 2 and loved it, tried 3's demo, didn't like it.

Licurg is wrong. WBC 2 is very different to 3. The difference is that with 2 you get a vast number of different options to build up your character. You can fine tune it, and make your hero really individual. With 3 they dumbed this down a lot. I don't know if it's for balancing, or if it was simply better to always bump stats in WBC2. For a single player though, it was very dissapointing to see it go.

However there's no plot in WBC2, there is in WBC3.

Battlecry 1 has "the path of darkness". It's awesome, you get to play a character being slowly corrupted.

I had only BC3, and I thought that it's the best in the series in a way "bigger, better, more of everything" way, but it seems they are quite different and it's worth to buy them all.

Definitely, in my opinion 2 is the pinnacle, but all 3 should be played.

You and me both. Kohan 2 is one of my all time favourites. Melchior rocks as a character, and the game involves some real strategy.

I was thinking more about first two Kohan games, because I only played them. I liked the graphics style and slow pace, more focused on real strategic thinking, not only fast clicking.

Good to know Kohan 2 is good too. 3D graphics don't have that unique look for me, as the first two games, though.

Apart from a slight dumbing down of the RPG part, everything else is pretty much the same in terms of gameplay.
