European Escalation is a pretty cool game. Definitely better than most RTS drivel, but it's not perfect. The interface isn't exactly bad, but not exactly intuitive, and I can think of about a dozen tweaks that would have made a world of difference in making the game easier to control.
Gameplay wise the game isn't perfect. Units will get themselves killed because of their own stupidity of placement in cover, and you can't tell them to face a specific direction when going into cover, so you just have to hope you aren't unlucky.
The deck system is a joke. You're so heavily restricted on what you can put in your deck that it basically ends up being like any other player's deck. Not to mention how annoying it is to navigate the deck interface.

I could go on and on. The last thing that let me down was how you couldn't play meta multiplayer games, like Total War campaign style.

And it should be here soon right?
Hopefully not before World in Conflict (Airland Battle is only a new release and highly unlikely to be on GOG anytime soon imho)

Why do you say that?
And European Escalation is relatively new as well. I wouldn't be surprised, I mean it's not like GOG or the right's holders of games actively seek to delay release of a game just because of it's age.
Anyone?
