Everyone here even Lou and his kids has pirated something or taken something for free without paying for it.... Who here celebrates another persons Birthday.......... Yep... thats right your forgot to pay Warner owns the SONG.
So the next time you are in a public place celebrating the birth of your child make sure you pay ASCAP.
The fact the song brings in 2 million A YEAR Still and will continue to do so untill (I think the copyright extension act from the 80's made it go out to 2050 but I could be wrong on the year)
So..... Still think all pirates should be punished to the letter of the law?
On a side note... I watched the Green Zone (couldnt fall asleep) last night.... Yep you guessed it it was pirated..... generally speaking... we do not exactly have a whole lot of uh Movie theaters to go see shows not to mention the fact I am sure not a single company would sue someone in a * combat* zone. Thing is checking out a pirated version (Only option) of a movie at least allows me the chance to decide if I want to buy it later... Sorry Blockbuster on main street was blown up....
It was an ok movie... it felt like I was actually in Iraq!! However I would have to disagree with some aspects of the movie.... The scene at Saddams Palace with Civvies drinking and working on their Tan... lol that was great... I remember those days... Back then I was assigned to rebuild somethings and yet after my team rebuilt it insurgents would just blow it up again.. But at least back then at the end of the day we could have a beer and relax..........
