Hello have question (s),
How much does it needed votes for starting to get some game ( to get starting )
And the games i voted cant it be somehow tracked - lets say if games come you notify me about it so i can buy. Or its progress about getting.
How many times i can vote for one game :)
Thank you..
the votes just help GOG figure out which games are most wanted by the community. they will pursue games with more votes more vigorously, but as they are constantly stating their main goal is to bring us as many good old games as they can.
you can vote for a game only once with each account.
votes are sort of tracked in that they will tell you if you have voted for them on the search page, but there is no list of games that you have voted for.

Ok still dont know what is the number for possible getting 100 -500 - 3000
They probably wont search game with 10 votes.
I know it can be complication on geting it rights or whatever there is, but just wondering about number for starting, attention.
And what is with tracking am i possible being notify if game come is there option like that
And thank you for your reply, :)
Simply put, the votes don't mean much. They'll go after games they can get, but putting 2000+ votes for a game that the publisher just doesn't want to put on GOG isn't going to change their mind.
The votes help a little bit, but in the grand scheme of things they aren't worth the bits used to store them.
Well than i just can ask simple question :
When is planed or what is progress with:
Homeworld series
Warcraft 2
Majesty
Zeus
Caesar
:) :)

No one knows what games are going to be next, besides those that are listed on the upcoming (usually 0-3 games).
Just have to wait and hope. :)
Simply put: they won't tell us what deals they have in the works until those deals are signed and sealed.
Voting won't have any real influence, but they may be able to use it as influence if there are enough votes to suggest high sales potential.
OK people thank you,
I can say this topic solved - locked whatever you want. I got it.
Thx once more :)

There is no way to track what game and when games come to GOG other than visiting the front page on tuesdays and thursdays (days gog usually adds new games). You can also opt to get announcement news letters (as well as promotion newsletters) that offer the same info (My account. -> Account & Settings and tic the boxes for newsletter you want at the bottom of the page).
As for effect of votes, it's like others have said already. As can be seen from top ten (and most of top 100 probably) most wished games, votes don't matter if company who owns the rights do not want to offer the games on GOG (Electronic Arts, Lucasarts and ATARI in case of top 10).
