I've been trying to use my Visa Gift Card on GOG for a while and it never works. I heard somewhere that you can use it if you register your address and stuff. How do I register y information?

You can't set billing information on GOG as far as I know. But you can do so for services like Paypal and apply your card to there I believe, and then Paypal works on here. https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/template-management/prepaid-gift-cards
On the package that contained the card, the information and website for registering for online purchases should be there. If not, the packet of information given with the card has the information and website on it. Hope this helps.
It's not GoG - a lot of these VISA gift / prepaid cards (and in fact all of the prepaid "credit" cards) actually have a disclaimer in that tiny print on the back, that no one ever reads, that says "For Domestic Use Only..." So no go on Gog :(

This. Some US lobbyist tooting "terrorists" use them, got a stupid law passes making US giftcards only work with US billing address businesses.

Since gog billing is Poland, all giftcards shouldn't work. Even if you use it with paypal (at least I have not figured out how to use us giftcard internationally through paypal).

You can maybe find a nice gog trader here in the forums to trade with. The nice traders do it $:$, not not try to make a profit (you can personal message me if you want to try working something out).

Ps. you should be able to use your US giftcard at amazon.com and @ steam.

<<<this reminds me, when gog tried their 'regional pricing' I bet gog still didn't have a billing address for each f'n region. To enforce regional pricing, you must have a billing address for each region, unless gog was trying to do something unscrupulous>>>
There is no such law. However, Visa card issuers are free to set the terms of use of their cards, including what manner of transaction the card may not be used for.

Many would rather eliminate the cost and risk of fraud in foreign transactions from their business altogether. To do this, they need do nothing more than establish a rule that the card may not be used for transactions with a foreign merchant.

They have the right to do this, and you have no recourse. "Visa. Everywhere you want to be." NOT.
Oh, so this has something to do with the back of the card being green or yellow. They do sell global-use cards in the stores like Walgreens (iirc). You just have to read and make sure you pick up the right one.

You can set up 2 accounts. Attach the card to 1 account and "send money" to the second account. You have to pay a fee for this (15% I think), but it's still better than not being able to buy anything at all.
