So it took them MORE THAN 4 YEARS but they finally managed to port Viking to the PC

It's available on Steam now: http://store.steampowered.com/app/211160/

How well did they handle the PC port? anyone played it yet? I remember liking this game on PS3 years ago Another reason why SEGA needs to join GOG.

Can we expect finally a Vanquish port to PC SEGA? Please? Pretty please?

Just saw this on Steam. What is it?

I always wished Creative Assembly would do a Total War game in some fantasy setting, is it something like that?

If Total War did a fantasy game with dragons, griffons etc.. I would throw money at them like mad (just after throwing it at some computer shop for a rig to run said game). Seriously Total War fantasy would be epic!

Anyway side-tracking aside the steam page for this game is terrible as after reading you're not really sure what it is. From what I can tell its 3rd person style like Dynasty Warriors. That is you run around as a single superfighter on the battlefield and basically oneman army your way through the levels (a bit more tactically obviously but its the general idea). At least that is the impression I get.

Well the first King Arthur did that fairly well in it's own way, check it out if you didn't yet.

Its a bit shit, i played it back on the 360 when it came out, I never completed it, basically evil is stalking the land, you play a viking doing fed ex quests, opening up different areas of the land as you progress by rescuing prisoners, making an "army", each level culminates in a "battle", where you defeat a boss.

The first one looks good as all your "army" charge down a hill in a cutscene, then you have a battlefield that you stalk around and complete different objectives. But it gets tiresome after the first few.

Already got it :)
Sadly my computer is a bit underpowered to run it really smooth (its playable just not "smooth" as I'd like to play). I've also heard mixed things about the second title in that series (seems it was ok but had some graphics problems that I'm not sure if they ever resolved).
It's okay.
I liked it when i played it on 360. It's an open world god of war in a viking setting with on the end of the open island (there are 3 if i remember correctly) a big siege war. It's fun but the biggest problem is that every island has the same setup and goal so you basicly play the same game 3 times, but it's fun.

Wait a second...they made a sequel to this game?
