Okay, now what:

I can't understand the sudden desire for NZ politicians trolling at the expense of Finland constantly.

Surprising (or not) as it may seem, that is something completely normal I have come to expect from our so called 'leaders'.
While they're there, ask a few of our men for some uncensored video games and movies. I'm sure they'd be willing to make a trade.

There's a Welsh joke in there somewhere.
Very logical move with north korea and China growing in influence. I expect to see a US Navale base there within 5-10 years. Good time to move to Oz, there's money a-comin!

There's already a couple of US Air Force bases in the Outback. They're nothing more than satellite tracking stations, but they're still there. There's also the Marshall Islands and Guam installations.
You guys are great. thanks for a good laugh!!
This is probably the most rediculous post i have seen on the internet all week.

US troops in Darwin are not a new thing, they have used Darwin as a port and training area since at least WWII - it was only a matter of time until they negotiated their presence in a more permament capacity with our bases located there. Nor are they the only foreign military presence to chose to train their troops with ours in Darwin.
