Wishbone: Indeed, but how exactly do you plan to "contribute"?
by uploading videos.

Does that not require having the login and password of the account? I'm genuinely asking, I don't know much about it.

for a group, you can submit any video from your own youtube account, depending on the settings it may require an administrator to approve it, otherwise it's just done by uploading the video to your own youtube, and then submitting it to them.

Cook: The Unofficial GOG.com channel on YouTube is now Official :)
Thanks to Red_153d's kindness we are now in control of the GOG.com YouTube channel. The team is working hard in order to bring you as many videos from GOG.com's games in high quality as they can. You can count on an update very soon!

Wow, what a twist of events. :)
Nope, I'm stupid, I was confusing "channel" with Group.
It should be a GOG.com group, you can't upload videos to a channel from a separate account. But you can to a group.
which makes the channel pointless...

maybe they could have a thread where you post links to stuff you think should be on there, they could then approve & add it or decline. Since its now offiicial they'd probably want more control over what goes on it

they'd need the source file, finding a place to upload the source file to, other than youtube, may be difficult for.. less advanced users..
